Mike Acevedo CFP®
Mike Acevedo, CFP® is a passionate financial planner who has a deep appreciation for his community and those who protect it. His natural aptitude for numbers combined with his interpersonal skills allow him to coach his clients and help them to navigate through life’s financial puzzle in a straight forward and easy to understand manner. Mike graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a focus on Personal Financial Planning. Soon after graduating, Mike began working with the California Professional Firefighters, District 10 of the IAFF. With more than 10 years of serving police and firefighters, Mike has a unique expertise in serving public safety members.
In 2012 Mike earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNING™ designation. As a CFP® Certificant Mike has a fiduciary responsibility to all of his clients and is held to rigorous ethical standards. CFP® certification is recognized as the highest standard in personal financial planning.
Mike and his wife Shannon have two children, Scottlyn and Nixon along with a loving pup named Kona. When Mike isn’t working, he loves traveling with his family and enjoys spending time in the great outdoors.
